2024-29 Strategic Plan
Overview
The Pelham Public Schools’ five-year Strategic Plan was adopted by the Board of Education in June 2024. This plan was developed during the 2023-24 school year in a collaborative process that included stakeholders from across the Pelham community. The development process built consensus around the District’s Mission of “Inspiring a Standard of Excellence for All Students,” a revised Vision Statement, and three Strategic Priorities, which will guide the Pelham Public Schools work through 2029. Development & Background
The District’s five-year Strategic Plan was developed in consultation with the District’s consultants at Hazard, Young, Attea, which led an inclusive community engagement process garnering nearly 1,900 survey responses and direct feedback from more than 150 individuals through a series of representative focus groups and interviews.
That information and data from a variety of District reports was carefully reviewed by the Board and a working group of teachers, administrators and high school students over the course of three Strategic Planning sessions. Throughout this process, the group built consensus on the District’s Mission, a revised Vision Statement and priorities.
Once the priorities and objectives were set, District administrators worked to develop an operational and measurable action plan to bring the Strategic Plan to life.
