Dear Pelham Community,
I am pleased to share that the proposed 2025-26 school budget, property acquisition/renovation and Bond Propositions 1 and 2 were approved. Bond Propositions 3 and 4 were rejected. Unofficial results are as follows:
Proposed School Budget: 1427-897
Property Acquisition/Renovation: 1190-1118
Bond Proposition 1: 1309-1010
Bond Proposition 2: 1198-1118
Bond Proposition 3: 1139-1178
Bond Proposition 4: 940-1374
I would also like to congratulate Jackie De Angelis, Natalie Marrero and Will Treves who were re-elected to three-year terms on the Board of Education.
Thank you to everyone who voted today. The approval of these propositions marks an exciting time for our District as we seek to modernize our infrastructure and bring much needed improvements to Siwanoy School.
I would like to extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who worked diligently to ensure a smooth and fair election. Special thanks go to our District Clerk, Valerie Miller, our election inspectors and our security and custodial teams for their incredible efforts.
