The Pelham Public Schools seeks a part time Occupational Therapist to provide Occupational Therapy to facilitate rehabilitation of those students whose physical and/or motor disabilities interfere with their ability to experience maximum growth in an educational setting.
Candidates should possess the following qualifications:
- Thorough knowledge of the theory and techniques of occupational therapy
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to relate with students, staff and parents
- Ability to document findings and maintain accurate case records
- Good judgement, emotional maturity, resourcefulness and initiative
Licenses: License and current registration issued by the New York State Education Department to practice as an Occupational Therapist is required. Additionally, must currently hold the Westchester County Civil Service Title of Occupational Therapist. We will be canvassing the Westchester County Civil Service lists.
10 month position, September-June. Position follows academic calendar. Part time Position at 31.5 hours per week.
