Community Resources

Just a half hour from New York City, Pelham is the oldest town in Westchester.  This community of 12,500 residents include fourth generation Pelham families as well as those who move from Manhattan for the schools. Residents share a commitment to education as well as the arts, sports and civic responsibility. This commitment is evident in the mentoring of our high school scientists at some of the best research hospitals in the area, an annual young people’s music festival, and a parent and community coalition to support its youth known as Pelham Together. Pelham is home to two regional cultural centers, The Pelham Art Center and the Picture House Regional Film Center, both a result of the dedication of interested residents.

The schools enjoy a rich partnership with numerous community groups, including  Pelham Education Foundation, Pelham Civics Association, Pelham Recreation Department, Pelham Rotary, Junior League, Pelham Preservation Society, and Pelham Together.
