In Person Learning

The District has increased health and safety precautions to reduce the spread of COVID-19 during the 2020-21 school year. These protocols were studied by the District's Reopening Health and Safety, and Logistics committees, which were led by Assistant Superintendent for Business Jim Hricay and included input from school principals, the director of facilities, teachers, and the District physician. Specific areas of focus include:

  • Cleaning and building logistics

  • Maximizing use of space to promote physical distancing

  • Daily health screening

  • Classroom configuration

  • Lunch/recess

  • Personal Protective Equipment expectations for students and staff

Plan Highlights
