WELCOME

Welcome to Pupil Personnel Services.  Our department provides balanced supports for every student to ensure equal access to the general education curriculum as we address the whole student.  Academic, health, social and emotional needs all fall within our Pupil Personnel Services.  

We collaborate with the Office of Teaching & Learning led by Claire Comerford, as our services align and at times overlap.  Multi-Tiered Systems of Supports (MTSS) guides general education building-level supports and is a critical component in the referral process for special education services.  Our work supports the systematic implementation of the strategies and interventions needed in the general education classrooms.  Special education support personnel are significant members of each building's MTSS team as data is analyzed and students are discussed. 

Our goal is to foster growth and independence in the academic, social and emotional domains for all students.  Comments, questions and communications initiated from our families are always welcome as we value your participation and collaboration in supporting our students.
